June 2006 - Stok La Trek Experience

Have you come down to earth yet? Difficult aint it?

Now that we're back to our routine life, everything and everyone seems so rushed and hectic.It was from Spituk to Stok where friendships were made and bonds were built as we battled the cold! Ladakh was more than a holiday for me. It was an experience. One that I wish didn't have to end. It was not just the place with its magnificent beauty; but the people who made my stay so much more enjoyable.

Thank You so much Prateek, Qayoom Ji and Sharif for encouraging me to make my dream come true. Thank you Rahul, all the cooks, the horse man and those beloved horses for helping us.
And thank you my new friends for being there and here's hoping we stay in touch.

Although my body might be miles away, my heart still lingers on in Ladakh...
